With Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season Two arriving soon, Verdansk will receive some new locations.
Treyarch and Raven Software officially revealed the Season 2 content coming to both Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War and Warzone later this month. Aside from all the new modes, weapons, and operators, the new content also has a surprise for Warzone‘s Verdansk map, referred to as “A Dark Wave Approaches Verdansk,” which actually means a new area will be added to the map in the upcoming season.
According to the developers, the Underground in Verdansk will get some new explorable places that are said to be too risky areas. On the other hand, the biggest addition to the map is a new tanker vessel near the Port of Verdansk. This new point of interest will move forward the story of Warzone by providing more intel. Previously, based on the information players gathered on Rebirth Island, it was mentioned that a cargo tanker named “Vodianoy” has gone missing at sea. But the same tanker revealed in the Season 2 trailer, with the developers referring to it by this sentence: “A Dark Wave Approaches Verdansk.”
The end begins February 25th.

The new season of Warzone and Cold War brings in four new operators: Nega, Maxis, Wolf, and Rivas. Besides, six new weapons including Fara 83 assault rifle, LC10 SMG, Machete special, R1 Shadowhunter special, ZRG 20mm sniper, and E-Tool melee will be joining the list of your arsenal. On top of all these new additions, Black Ops Cold War is set to receive a new large-scale Zombies mode called Outbreak, through which you will continue the story of Dark Aether in the biggest and most dangerous chapter of it.
Call of Duty Warzone is now available for free on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC through the Battle dot Net launcher. The Season 2 content for both Warzone and Cold War will officially go live on February 25.
