Danmachi New Game With Worldwide Release Announced by Klab

KLab announced its working on a new Danmachi PC and mobile game, based on the freshly announced 4th season of the anime.

Klab announced on February 10 it has a brand new Danmachi game in the works. Moreover, the game is coming to PC and mobile, and will be released worldwide. Lastly, this new Danmachi game will be linked with the freshly announced fourth anime season, which is coming sometime in 2022. The game itself has no release date estimate.

KLab also explained it is partnering up with Aiming for the development of this new Danmachi game. Aiming is known for Hunter x Hunter Greed Adventure, a mobile game based on the popular manga by Yoshihiro Togashi. Aiming also worked on Dragon Quest mobile game Dragon Quest Tact.

KLab and Aiming specialize on mobile games based on free-to-play, and mobile games, which is the biggest gaming market now in Japan. It’s highly likely this new Danmachi game will use the usual free-to-play format, with gacha elements.

Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? also known as Danmachi, is a fantasy novel published since January 2013 by GA Bunko. Its original Japanese name is even longer: Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka. Danmachi is written by Fujino Ōmori and illustrated by Suzuhito Yasuda.

Suzuhito Yasuda is also known for Yozakura Quartet. He is also the character designer of several Digimon games, of Gundam Build Fighters, and Durarara. All highly popular franchises. Danmachi itself is a big sensation worldwide, else it wouldn’t be getting its fourth anime adaptation in 2022. When the first anime season aired in 2015, Danmachi‘s flagship heroine Hestia most notably became a sensation on Twitter with her ribbon dress. A new OVA is also launching in Japan on April 28:
