In a recent tweet from Insomniac Games, the developer confirmed that Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart will feature Ray Tracing at 60 frames per second. So, there will be no sacrifices in having better reflections and a much more realistic experience.

Just to be more specific, some of the 9th-gen games on PS5 and Xbox Series X lock the number of frame rates at 30 when you attempt to enable the Ray Tracing option. But for the new Ratchet & Clank title, this won’t be an issue.

Using PS5’s incredibly fast SSD, Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart will make it possible to travel through in-game dimensions with no need to wait for a loading screen. This is one of the main reasons that the game could not be delivered on PS4 with the same quality.

Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart will be available exclusively on PS5 on June 11. The review scores of the game will be out two days earlier on June 9. Most of the big outlets have already received their review codes for the game.
