Rocket League Season 3 – Release Date
So, when can you jump into Season 3 of Rocket League? Well, pretty soon actually!
Rocket League Season 3 is set to begin on April 7, according to the official trailer for the new season.
You’ll be able to play the new season if you already own Rocket League on any of the following platforms, PlayStation, Xbox, Mac, Linux, Windows, or Nintendo Switch.
Psyonix also recently announced a brand new mobile version of the popular vehicular soccer game, which will be called Rocket League Sideswipe.
The mobile-spin off is set to be released sometime in late 2021, but it’s currently unclear if the two games will share the same seasonal content.
Rocket League F1 and NASCAR Collab
The big announcement from the new trailer of Rocket League Season 3 is that the theme will revolve around a new collaboration with F1 and NASCAR.
This means there’s going to be a lot of F1 and NASCAR goodies and cosmetics for players to get their hands on during the season.
The official collaboration between the two racing giants won’t hit the game until mid-May, but there’s still a lot to look forward to in the meantime.
Rocket League Mustang
So, how can you get your hands on that shiny new Mustang we saw in the trailer? Well, according to Psyonix, it looks like the car will be part of a special bundle coming to the game in the month of May.
The official description of Rocket League Season 3 states “To properly celebrate the art of auto racing, we had to bring in two legends that practically perfected speed: NASCAR and Formula 1. Both of these titans of the track are racing into Rocket League throughout Season 3 with their own bundles.”
So, you’ll need to save up your Rocket League credits for the launch of the NASCAR bundle if you want to purchase the Mustang come mid-May.
Unfortunately, that’s all the info that has been revealed so far, but as soon as Rocket League Season 3 kicks off, DualShockers will have everything you need to know.
