Dream Solvent is any upcoming quality of life improvement possibly coming to Genshin Impact 1.5, found several weeks ago by data miners – with that said, we recently got additional information on how Dream Solvent works, and where to farm it to transmute our Talent upgrade Materials.
Boss dropped Talent Materials in Genshin Impact
In Genshin Impact, after upgrading a Talent over level 6, upgrading them further will require special Talent Materials dropped by the weekly bosses, mainly fought in Trounce Domains. So far in the game we have Stormterror, Andrius, and Childe as weekly bosses who drop these materials.
INAZUMA – Release date, Ayaka, Scaramouche, and lore so far
Each boss can drop three different type of Talent Material, and it’s RNG which one you get. As such, it can be quite frustrating when you don’t have enough materials. And need to wait until the weekly reset to redeem rewards from Stormterror, Andrius, or Childe again.
This is where Dream Solvent comes into play.
What’s Dream Solvent? Where to find and farm Dream Solvent
Dream Solvent is one of those items that has been data mined for quite a while now. But has yet to be officially announced and introduced to the game.
WINDTRACE – Possible Dead by Daylight inspired event coming in 1.5
In Ver 1.4, miHoYo introduced the Dust of Azoth. It lets Genshin Impact players transmute Character Ascension Materials of one element to another. Players can buy Dust of Azoth through Event shops, or in the Paimon Bargain Shop. By exchanging Starglitter, which is gained as you pull the gacha.
Overall, Dream Solvent will have the same function, but for Boss drop Talent Materials.
Dream Solvent in Genshin Impact, which Boss Drop Talent Materials does it works on?
Like the Talent Materials, Dream Solvent will seemingly also be dropped from weekly bosses, including the upcoming Azhdaha.
Honey Impact mentioned Dream Solvent can only turn a specific boss’ Talent Material into another Talent Material dropped from the same boss.
However, Projectcelestia claims Dream Solven will be able to transmute any boss drop Talent material into another.
Personally speaking, seeing how Dust of Azoth works, I’d suggest the later is more likely to happen. We’ll only know for sure when miHoYo officially reveals Dream Solvent, or a similar item or function. Keep in mind all of this is data mined, and as such isn’t final.
Genshin Impact is available on PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile.
