Ah April Fools Day, maybe the only day each year where it’s socially acceptable to pull pranks on your friends, family, colleagues and generally, the whole world.

Every year, developers, news sites, streamers and more come together to create crazy updates or invent bizarre stories to trick the world.

One of the games taking part in the festivities this year is none other than Blizzard’s Overwatch, and they teased it by simply tweeting out the eyes emoji. But what exactly are they doing? Let’s take a look.

What is the Overwatch April Fools Day Prank of 2021?

As it stands, it looks like Blizzard have replicated their April Fools Day prank from last year.

As players logged into Overwatch today, they have been greeted with all of the game’s heroes sporting big googly eyes.

It’s a sight to behold while competing against Mei with her eyes rolling around or D.Va giving you a bizarre look.

As you can imagine there was shock, confusion and much laughter.
