Check out some of the best Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey fan art illustrations.

Only days ago we found out that Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey would be playing Joel and Ellie in HBO’s The Last of Us. Since then, the internet has been flooded with fan art of the pair as artists creatively worked out what the actors would look like when we finally see them in the series. Naughty Dog’s highly acclaimed 2013 title of the same name is loved by people around the globe who found their very own connection with both of the gaming characters, hence why they are still loved and of such importance to this day.

Even though the vast majority of fans love that they’ll see The Mandalorian star Pedro Pascal taking on the role of the rugged Joel, there are folks who were disappointed that Game of Thrones actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau didn’t get cast and also we captured some reactions to Bella Ramsey playing Ellie. Regardless, the creative artists of the world have spread their wings and showcased some incredible works of fan art of the pair. Check out some of the best we have found on the internet so far.

Which one is your favorite? It’s pretty hard to choose as they all offer something unique and different but personally, I particularly love apexform‘s fan art recreation that depicts a young Ellie towards the bottom from Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us and then the sunlight beaming in from the forest between Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey. The more you look at the fan art creations, the more you can see why these actors were chosen for the roles.

It will be a while yet before we can actually see Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey in action as Joel and Ellie, but HBO could air the series at the end of the year or around the beginning of next year. My fingers are well and truly crossed that we will see the show sooner rather than later.
