What Are Battle Stars?
Originally, Battle Stars were introduced as a way to tier up levels in the seasonal Battle Pass. A player was required to acquire 10 stars in order to tier up 1 level. For every 5 levels, a player would receive 1 Battle Star, and every 10 levels would get you 10 stars.
In Season 7 of Fortnite Chapter 2, Battle Stars will work a little differently. Now they are your way to claim all of the season’s rewards, in the order you want them.
Players can now collect Battle Stars and exchange them for features in the Battle Pass, no matter which tier the reward is at. If you’ve got the Battle Stars to splash out on that Level 100 Reward, you don’t need to wait to tier it up.
How Do You Get Them?
In Fortnite Season 7, Battle Stars can be acquired simply by levelling up. According to the latest showcase video by Epic Games, each level will grant the player a total of 5 Battle Stars.
Players can also purchase levels with V-Bucks, which will also grant them access to Battle Stars.
It’s yet to be confirmed if Battle Stars will be available around the island for players to find, much like older seasons. Check out the video below to find out more about this season’s new Battle Pass and Battle Stars.
