McDonald’s Pokemon Cards – Here is Every Card Available in the 2021 Promotion

From Squirtle to Sobble, here are all of the Pokemon Trading Cards available in McDonald’s latest promotion.

In celebration of the Pokemon franchise hitting a quarter of a century (feel old yet??) McDonald’s and The Pokemon Company are teaming up for another collaboration. This time out, anybody who purchases a McDonald’s Happy Meal will receive a Pokemon-related toy and a booster pack with four promotional Pokemon Trading Cards. What cards are they though? Well, here is a full list of all of the McDonald’s Pokemon Cards in the 2021 promotional packs.

The Toys

As part of the promotion, every McDonald’s Happy Meal will come with a toy. According to PokeJungle, each Happy Meal will come with one of four envelopes with each envelope containing a different “toy”. These are cardboard deck boxes, a sticker sheet, a plastic frame to display a Pokemon Trading Card and a set of four larger stickers.

While they don’t contain the usual plastic Pokemon Toy, like previous promotions, they’re still a nice addition to what is ultimately going to be the most sought after freebie, the cards.

Mcdonald’s Pokemon Cards 2021 Full Set

This year’s Pokemon Trading Card promotion sees every Starter Pokemon in the series’ history being represented with their own card. This includes Pikachu who was a starter in Pokemon Yellow. Every McDonald’s Happy Meal will come with one pack of four trading cards, containing one holo and three non-holo cards.

There will be 25 different cards available in both a holo and non-holo form, meaning there is 50 total to collect. Each card will be a reprint, however, any holo card will contain the special McDonald’s holographic print. They will all also have a 25th-anniversary logo.

The full list of Pokemon is as follows:
Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Mudkip, Torchic, Treecko, Chimchar, Piplup, Turtwig, Oshawott, Snivy, Tepig, Chespin, Fennekin, Froakie, Litten, Popplio, Rowlet, Grookey, Scorbunny and Sobble.

Pokemon 25th Anniversary Celebration

Pokemon is one of a number of video game franchises that hit a big milestone this year and that means we’re likely to get lots of good stuff. We’re already getting a New Pokemon Snap and there are plenty of rumours about potential remakes. Both Gold and Silver and Diamond and Pearl are seemingly the most likely candidates. Pokemon GO will also be celebrating this year as the game hits its fifth anniversary.
