Diablo 2: Resurrected was announced at Blizzcon 2021, and fans are eagerly waiting for the game to be released. The game is not only a remaster of the critically acclaimed title Diablo 2, which was launched in 2000 but also contains the Lord of Destruction expansion.
The developers have ensured that the game holds up to modern-day standards, with 4k resolution support and completely revamped cutscenes and rendering. However, at the very core, it still remains true to the original game. One of the highlights of the game is the fact that players can choose to play the game in classic visuals, anytime they choose to.
Diablo 2 Resurrected Alpha Sign Up: How to Get Early Access, Release Date
Blizzard hasn’t announced a release date for Diablo 2 Resurrected Alpha yet, but it is speculated that it will be releasing this year itself. That being said, the developers are kicking off the Alpha testing of the game this week itself.
To be a part of the Alpha testing, players will need to register for the same. Players will get an invite before the Alpha testing begins. Do note that like all Alpha tests, not all players who sign up will get a chance to be a part of the Alpha test. Here is how to sign up for the Alpha test.
- Go to the Diablo 2: Resurrected website by clicking on the link here.
- Log in with your Blizzard Account
- Click on Technical Alpha Opt-in
- You will get a notification that your registration is successful
The beta starts on April 9 and will run until April 12. The Alpha version of the game will be quite limited, with only a few classes, namely Barbarian, Amazon, and Sorceress, and a single-player only mode. Players will be able to play through the first two Acts only for now, but this will likely expand in subsequent tests considering that Blizzard has already confirmed a multiplayer test coming later this year.
Diablo 2: Resurrected, will be releasing on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X
