Fortnite Season 7 map will host huge changes in multiple areas. The biggest one? you will no longer see The Spire on the island!
After long anticipation, Epic Games eventually revealed Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 with a brand new story trailer that warns all players of an upcoming war against unknown alien invaders.
When the last season started, we saw Agent Jones teaming up with The Foundation to fix the strange anomaly around The Spire. Now, The Spire has been soaked up by an alien UFO and you will no longer see it on the map.
Fortnite Season 7 Map – The Spire Is Missing
According to the first screenshot from the Fortnite Season 7 map, there are a lot of changes awaiting after the alien invasion.
Sweaty Sands, Stealthy Stronghold, Colossal Crops, eastern Craggy Cliffs, southern Misty Meadows, and all The Spire surroundings have been highlighted by question marks on the map.
While we don’t know yet what those question marks mean, but they could probably refer to areas invaded by the alien army. So, players might face some AI-controlled enemies when they enter the grey zones on the map.
A new version of the map removes those question marks. The interesting part is some areas have been renamed on the map. Believer Beach is the new name for Sweaty Sands and Colossal Crops has been replaced by Corny Complex.
The Boney Burbs and Weeping Woods seem to experience significant changes in the type of environment with the removal of The Spire.
We will update the post with more details and information as soon as we discover new things about what is happening on the island.
The new season introduces upcoming crossovers with the Superman universe and the Rick & Morty TV series. Special outfits for the aforementioned characters will be available in the Invasion Battle Pass.
Fortnite is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
